We have two units and can’t imagine going back to physical plugs at home anymore. Availability of a Plugless unit will weigh heavily on our next EV purchase.

It’s awesome. It dramatically increases Electric miles. See when you come home from the grocery store, and spend a half hour, unloading and putting things away, you charge during those short stops you wouldn’t normally plug in for.

Mainly the convenience. My old L2 was literally aligned to the charge port but I wanted something that I didn’t have to bother opening/closing charge port door and plugging in/out.

Nice install experience…
Price is becoming competitive with less convenient Level 2 Plug-in Units. Cheaper if one needs to have charging at two different locations/second homes. Charging flap is not in the way for garages with narrow passages. Nice install experience for car and easy DIY home charger install.
shop was great and helpful…
The installation shop was great and helpful. The technician seemed to have a rough time pulling bigger wire harness through tighter spaced. Lastly time was under estimated.

I’d recommend it to all my friends but all they say is a waste of money and it doesn’t take that long to plug in. I bet they won’t say that if it came with the car and gave them the option to plug in or Plugless!

Initial issues with wall unit…
Initial issues with wall unit due to tripping internal breaker. Had to follow up several times to finally get a new unit sent. The new unit seems to be working well. Love the convenience of just driving into the garage and not having to worry about plugging and unplugging.

It’s a complete game changer for an EV owner. I have two EV cars and only one Plugless station. We also chose the car that is Plugless because it’s quick and simple. No worries about forgetting to plug in after we get back home.
I continue to tell people about it…
I had the system installed in by VOLT several months ago and just loved how well it worked. The car was “recharged” most all of the time. I have traded the VOLT for a Cadillac ELR and in the process of transferring the system to it. I continue to tell people about it and show them photos of it working.

I love it! The charger door on my Volt had a tendency to open for no apparent reason occasionally. Not an issue now! The convenience of just pulling into the garage without having to remember to plug it in sounds minor but it really isn’t. I don’t have to wash my hands immediately after leaving my car because I don’t have to touch the plug or the charger door. I love it! Totally maintenance-free too.

it is so handy to be unplugged. you don’t have to worry about forgetting to plug it in. i did come home today and it wouldn’t charge. i got the manual out and it said push the reset button and all is well again. thank you for a nice purchase and installation experience. i’m very happy.
