Transparency is good. Below is the full pricing and fuel economy data used for the post “Driving on Electricity is Cheaper Than Gas in All 50 States

Note: the abbreviation “VMT” used in the article data tables stands for “Vehicle Miles Traveled”  and is calculated by dividing the total vehicle miles driven per year in a given state divided by the total number of registered drivers.

*The EV efficiency rating for grid energy is different than the efficiency rating for miles per kWh of vehicle battery capacity. The US Dept of Energy data used accounts for miles per kWh drawn from the grid. 2.86 miles / kwh is the average efficiency of light duty passenger EVs sold in the united states since 2012.
