Founded in 2009, Evatran™ was formed by the company formally known as MTC Transformers, a world-class provider of high-quality, precision-engineered transformers and rewind services based in Wytheville, VA. With more than a century of combined experience in engineering and designing custom transformer solutions, Evatran brings innovations in inductive charging into the clean technology arena. MTC Transformers is currently owned by Schaffner group of Switzerland. The combined entity is now called Schaffner-MTC Transformers.
